Identify, cultivate, solicit, obtain, and steward a variety of funding activities for the Apereo Foundation, its projects, and communities.
- Community Members: organizations committed to public support for open source software in education and the role the Apereo Foundation plays therein.
- Foundation Members or Foundation as a Service: organizations investing in / leveraging open source software or communities--not specifically Apereo-hosted projects--accessing Apereo resources, support, and services to increase the organization’s operational effectiveness and better engage the open source projects they rely on.
(formerly Educational Organization Members) - Institutional Members, or OSPO as A Service: institutions supporting locally or collaboratively (e.g., system, consortia, etc.) maintained open source projects—0not specifically Apereo-hosted projects—accessing Apereo resources, support, or services to increase internal capacity, project awareness, adoption, and success of campus-run open source software.
- Sustaining Members: organizations providing dedicated financial support to Apereo projects or communities (i.e., Fiscal Sponsorees) in order to advance development or sustain the project or community.
(formerly Software Subscriptions) - Commercial Members: companies leveraging Apereo projects or resources as part of their business' products and/or services. More information...
- Individual Members or Friends of Apereo: Individuals contributing to the Apereo Foundation's work to increase awareness, adoption, and viability of open source software in education.
