Notification Letter to Apereo Fellows

Congratulations, I am delighted to share with you that the Apereo Foundation Board of Directors has recognized your ongoing commitment to the Apereo community with an Apereo Fellowship.

The Board awards members of the community with fellowships for their exceptional service and contributions to the Apereo community. Recipients' roles vary and include software development, project management, community engagement, or other areas that support projects and people across the Foundation.

All Dolphin Award recipients, including Apereo Fellows, receive the following:

• A certificate of recognition.
• A special "swag bag" related to the award (please provide your t-shirt size).
• A cash award of US $599.00 (Non-US based recipients will be subject to Federal US tax withholding of 30% unless all requirements are met, according to our Vendor Policies page. Contact accounting@apereo.org with any questions.)
• Registration for the following year's Open Apereo Conference.
  • Up to US$1,500 toward Apereo-related conferences and event travel expenses, such as travel and accommodation for the following year's Open Apereo Conference (airfare/baggage, taxi/bus/train/mileage, hotel, per diems for meals, visa fees).
  • Registration fees, travel, and accommodations to other pre-approved, Apereo events (airfare/baggage, taxi/bus/train/mileage, hotel, per diems for meals, visa fees).

Apereo typically announces the Dolphin Awards and Fellowships during our Open Apereo conference. In order to highlight your award and the others to be presented, we ask you to please refrain from sharing this news until we can announce your selection formally and officially during the conference on [INSERT DATE OF OPEN APEREO]. We hope you will be able to join us at the Open Apereo Conference this year, but if you are unable to attend, can you please provide me with your preferred shipping address (and t-shirt size), so I can send along your certificate and "swag?"
